The Tegernsee International Mountain Film Festival

Tegernsee, a lake-side town located 747 metres above sea level, surrounded by an alpine landscape, has been hosting an international mountain film festival every October since 2003. During the festival the Great Prize of the City of Tegernsee is awarded as well as other monetary prizes for other categories such as Mountain Life, Mountain Experience and more. Films can also be awarded for landscape, viewer’s choice and best camera work.
