Spitzingsee – Rotwand, Germany

Mountain Wilderness Germany will organize, an action and awareness-raising day in the area of the Spitzingsee and the Rotwand (Bavaria).

This field action is aimed at ski touring and snowshoe hikers to raise awareness of the nature conservation needs. Walkers and skiers are invited to opt for nature-friendly routes. At the present time, the environment problems are very little taken into account when choosing a route in winter in the mountains, despite the fact that winter is a harsh time for animals and vegetation.

Meeting point for the Action Day is the parking lot at the Taubensteinbahn.
