Climbing Life 2015

This event will gather climbing enthusiasts to climb the difficulties of life together for two weeks starting in late March.
Over the past year and after the launch on Facebook of the publication “Climbing life in 2014”, the efforts of the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) for peace and social development have been appreciated by the media and the political and sports world.
Climbing life is a symbolic event aimed at involving many people from all around the world. IFSC engaged in the preparations of Climbing life through seminars in schools, sport clubs and universities. The event from 25 March to 6 April 2015 will feature competitions and side events sponsored by Carton Blanc and Peace and Sport. On 6 April, pictures, films and stories will be uploaded on Facebook.
Climbing Life is an invitation to athletes of every age and every sport to highlight the slogan “Many sports, only one goal: Peace”. Italy, the natural bridge between Middle Europe and the Mediterranean, can facilitate the social and human programmes of the International Federation of Sport Climbing.
In addition, in 2015, the Sport Science Department of the University of Perugia officially introduced various seminars about the importance of sport for peace and social integration and the manual of adapted sport in its academic programme.
