‘Mountain faces’ photo contest

The International Mountain Summit in partnership with DJI are organizing a photo contest under the motto “Mountain.Faces” to gather individual perspectives on the mountains. The 2015 IMS photo contest will feature photos submitted by participants that capture activities such as, climbing and conquering steep mountain walls, as well as photos which capture the harsh climatic conditions that mountain inhabitants and nature must endure in order to survive and thrive within these vigorous environments.

Photographers are welcome to submit photos between 11 May 2015 to 31 July 2015 in two categories, the KIKU Photo award, which has been in place since 2012 and the new DJI Aerial Photo award, which aims to judge aerial photos taken with a drone.

Each category will be decided by Jury-Voting as well as Public Voting. The prizes of the KIKU award amount to 6 600 euros and the prizes in the DJI Aerial Photo award amount to 500 euros and a Phantom 3 Advanced Drone, offered by DJI.
