Innovation in Rural Tourism, Networking Event

The Networking Event of project Innovation in Rural Tourism (InRuTou) follows the InRuTou Partners Meeting and the Third Meeting of the Trainers.  The event will be dedicated to the evaluation of activities undertaken in the pilot areas in Italy, Poland, Romania and Ukraine.  Partners and trainers will also have the opportunity to experience Austrian rural tourism during a study trip.  The Networking Event will also aim to involve new partners and countries of the Carpathians and other mountain areas into the project.  Project ideas and strategies, as well as funding sources will be discussed.

Preliminary ideas for follow-up projects include: further involvement of protected areas in sustainable tourism development, promotion of intergenerational participation, youth entrepreneurship, as well as the involvement of creative industries grounded in cultural heritage.

The event is open to all interested participants – organizations and individuals engaged in sustainable development, tourism development and youth entrepreneurship projects.
