Forgotten fruits and agrobiodiversity: resources worth saving

On the occasion of the International Day for Biological Diversity 2018, the Fondazione Fabbrica Italiana Contadina, ARPA Emilia Romagna, FICO, Fondazione FICO and the Istituto Superiore per la Protezione e la Ricerca Ambientale (ISPRA) are organizing the conference “Forgotten fruits and agrobiodiversity: resources worth saving” in Bologna, Italy. The conference will highlight the importance of agricultural biodiversity as a treasure worth safeguarding and handing down to future generations as a tool for ensuring resilience in a rapidly changing environmental context, also considering climate change. Rosalaura Romeo of the Mountain Partnership Secretariat will present the Mountain Partnership Products Initiative during the event.

“Forgotten fruits and agrobiodiversity: resources worth saving” will take place from 10.00 to 13.00 on 22 May at FICO Eataly World, the world’s largest agri-food park, and will be conducted in Italian.
