3rd International Conference on Research for Development (ICRD 2012): Research for Global Transformation

The 3rd ICRD on Research for Global Transformation will be held from 20 to 22 August 2012, in Bern, Switzerland. The Conference is the National Centre of Competence in Research North-South's (NCCR) final major event, and, as such, will be a showcase for what the 12-year programme has achieved since its launch in 2001. The 3rd ICRD will have a strong focus on the global South and the role of the global North. Further will be discussed research policy, funding in the North and the consequences of global events, such as Rio+20, for research partnerships.
