World Farmers Market Coalition - 2nd General Assembly

The second General Assembly of the World Farmers Market Coalition will be held on 12 and 13 July 2024 in Rome, Italy. The General Assembly will be opened by a welcome and keynote speech of the Secretary General of Coldiretti, Vincenzo Gesmundo, and concluded by President Ettore Prandini. Other participants include: Roberto Gualtieri, Mayor of Rome; Francesco Lollobrigida, Minister of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty, Italy; Heidi Kuhn, Founder of Roots of Peace and 2023 World Food Prize; Anila Deanj, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Republic of Albania.

The event will include several sessions, including one on rural agriculture which will feature an intervention by Federico Mattei of the Mountain Partnership Secretariat at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.
