IPROMO Latinoamericano

IPROMO is a course organized by the Secretariat of the FAO's Mountain Partnership, which has been implemented annually in Italy since 2008, in English. In 2021, the first IPROMO aimed at Spanish-speaking audiences in South and Central America, inaugurating the IPROMO Latinoamericano.

This first Latin American IPROMO was received with great success. He had a duration of 44 hours, between May 17 and June 1, 2021, in virtual modality and with the participation of 40 students and 21 instructors from all over South America. More than 90% of participants rated the curriculum as "excellent" and mentioned having obtained the desired amount of knowledge, especially in topics such as the ecology of ecosystems height, governance, water justice and hydrological territories, and the changing global environment.
