Lesotho Bean Celebration and Dialogue

Leribe Farmers Forum, Rulal Self-Help Development Association and Slow Food are in the process of bringing Mountain Partnership Products and Slow Food Narrative Labeling to bean products that are produced in Lesotho in partnership with UNDP GEF SGP MPP and Denmark Lesotho Network.

There will be a Bean Celebratory event on Thursday 8th September 2022, in Leribe district in Lesotho where there will be a dialogue with Multi-stakeholders - farmers, cooks, chefs, hospitality, education- school feeding, correctional services, food packers and others.

The keynote address will be given by the Honorable Minister of Agriculture & Food Security. The celebrations will then proceed to food tastings from the Leribe Farmers Forum table, Slow Food Cook's Alliance and Ministry of Agriculture Nutrition office tables.
