Necessarily, these last years’ events are leading us toward a global ecology concept, pushing us away from the crossroads between Anthropocentrism and Biocentrism. Human and Earth to be saved together. Are we finally entering the era of respecting all that is Bios? In this context, the sustainable mountain development is among the main protagonists in human health. Local and food products, textiles and all other kinds of products are the productive fabric of a business that in the mountains is very much entrusted to women, to whom the 11^th of December will be dedicated, the UN International Mountain Day.

We have the pleasure to meet some Mountain Areas, from Mittel Europe to the  Southern part of Mediterranean that have chosen sustainable development.
