Center for Resilient Communities hosts West Virginia Mountain Day

Between 8-11 December, the West Virginia University Center for Resilient Communities (CRC) will host a West Virginia centered celebration of the International Mountain Day on the theme of 'Women Move Mountains'. Activities at the CRC will include opportunities for students to learn about sustainable development goals as they relate to mountains, along with a celebration of WVU sustainable development interns and graduates in related youth programmes. Throughout the week, opportunities for school aged children as well as engagement with the Morgantown community will also be available through a youth led concert, with inspiring talks by Appalachian women leaders, and inclusive lessons to empower our youth.
