The Social Work Institute (SWI) was established in 1987. It works in Nepal’s Karnali province, far western provinces and Solukhumbhu area. SWI focuses on developing local leadership in the communities and supporting them with their initiatives. It has trained more than 1 100 young leaders from different parts of the country. It is also promoting agroecology and is implementing a project to promote ecological farming. |
