Rural Technology and Development Centre (RTDC)

Since 1988, the Rural Technology and Development Centre (RTDC) has been a leader in promoting equity-based, mountain-specific and people-centred development in Himachal Pradesh. Its mission is to create resilient mountain village economies by developing action plans and replicable models for sustainable livelihoods and climate adaptation. RTDC focuses on community empowerment through social inclusion and fosters community-led governance to build sustainable and self-reliant mountain communities.
