The Good Gift (TGG) is the marketing arm of the Indian Yards Foundation (IYF), which is up-skilling women from rural and Indigenous communities of the Nilgiris with craft forms and subsequently enabling them into craft clusters that produce contemporary and utilitarian products from their hamlets for urban communities. This programme aims to instill an entrepreneurial mindset in the women from these communities. The Good Gift has built a decentralized backward linking model to ensure not to disrupt the communities’ traditional way of life, making these communities resilient and self-sustaining.
