The Italian Biomass Association (ITABIA) is a not-for-profit association that was founded in 1985. It aims to promote the diffusion of efficient and environmentally-sound biomass production practices and conversion systems for energy and industrial purposes. Most of ITABIA's activities concern the transfer of knowledge to public and private bodies, research centres, manufacturers and agroforestry entrepreneurs, among others. ITABIA's experience covers a wide range of topics, from biomass production and recovery, to the use of biomass for bionergy and bioeconomy. |
