Negros Island Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Development, Incorporated (NISARD)

Established in 2005, Negros Island Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Development (NISARD) is dedicated to supporting organic agriculture and food production for a healthy Negros Island. NISARD achieves this through sustainable organic practices, education, advocacy and the conservation of natural resources.

NISARD's mission is to make Negros Island the organic food island of Southeast Asia through sustainable organic agriculture while preserving the island's rich biodiversity and ecology on both land and sea. Additionally, NISARD contributes to the conservation of critically endangered species of flora and fauna native to the island and the region.
