Banaban Virgin Coconut Oil Rabi (BVCOR)

Rabi Organics, introduced by POETCom and SPC in 2019, collaborates with the Ministry of Agriculture & Waterways to drive the Banaban Virgin Coconut Oil initiative on Rabi Island, Fiji. The project aims to realign agricultural practices for environmental preservation. In 2022, the Ridge to Reef Project focused on rehabilitating deforested areas, demonstrating a commitment to biodiversity conservation. Extracted from organically grown coconuts, the oil reflects the rich tradition of sustainable agriculture of the Banaban people. Rabi Organics blends traditional and modern methods to ensure the highest quality. This community-based organization prioritizes environmental stewardship and social responsibility, improving livelihoods and promoting sustainable mountain development. Banaban Virgin Coconut Oil stands as a symbol of the Banaban people's dedication to sustainable living and connection to the land.
