The National Federation of Communal Forests and Pastures of Albania (NFCFPA) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) that promotes the sustainable use of forests, pastoral management and recognizes ownership rights. The organization includes individuals and families that have been involved in conserving approximately 30% of Albania's forests. The NFCFPA brings together 11 Regional Federations of Communal Forests and Pastures and 250 Forests and Pastures User Associations. The organization is a member of the International Land Coalition (ILC) and of the Regional Centre for Forestry and Rural Development (REFORD). The NFCFPA is committed to working together with other MP members in order to achieve the sustainable mountain development agenda in Albania and the Balkan region. |
