The Korea Forest Service (KFS), which was established in 1967, is a government agency of the Republic of Korea and is tasked with protecting and nurturing invaluable forests and help people enjoy what forests offer. KFS is made up of six affiliate agencies and five regional offices of Forest Service with about 1,797 employees who serve people across the country and abroad. Its goal is to promote productive forests that create jobs, welfare-enhancing forests that everyone can enjoy, and ecological forests where humans and nature are in harmony. |
