The objective of the Ministry of the Environment of Panama is to ensure compliance with and application of environmental laws and regulations as well as the National Environmental Policy for the protection, conservation, preservation, restoration, and sustainable use of natural resources. The Ministry also has the objective to establish and manage terrestrial and marine protected areas as part of the environmental planning of the territory. |
