6. Stratigraphic sequence analysis of paleoenvironmetal problems including sea-level and paleoclimate changes
7. Micro Paleontological analysis of paleoenvironmental problems including sea-level and paleoclimate changes
8. Studies on the histrical changes of earth surface process and environments recorded in the sedimets and sedimentary rocks.
9. Research and education on reading the various indicators recorded in lake and marsh sediments, on revealing ancient environmental change in the surface layer of the earth, and on predicting future climate and environmental change.
10. Clastic sedimentology and depositional processes of sedimentary structures and landforms
11. Organic analytical chemistry of biogenic molecules mainly from recent lake sediments :
    Application to researches on biological activities and their historical variations in the lake systems.
