Courses

The main objective of this course is the formation of an engineer who has developed a highly interdisciplinary analytical and design approach. The graduate student should be able to tackle the problems of environmental sustainability by combining civil engineering with industrial engineering and knowing how to deal with the uncertainty deriving from complex systems. He/she should be a professional figure with several skills in different fields that will enable the graduate student to design complex measures at different scales - from the micro scale of the materials, to the meso scale of the site, to a macro scale of the the structure of the territory.
