The Degree Course in Sciences and Forests and Nature (SFN), addresses the issues of management and conservation of forest and natural systems in their complexity and entirety and responds to the challenges that come from contemporary society by training a graduate able to read and interpret the characters and factors of the natural environment at different scales, from the local to the global, and to relate them to the needs and opportunities of sustainable management of forest ecosystems and other natural systems.

The SFN graduate is a professional capable of managing renewable natural resources in a balanced way, primarily forest resources, and who will be able to deal with biodiversity conservation, protection of the agro-forestry landscape and management of protected natural areas.
