The specific educational objectives of the CdLM are to prepare graduates with in-depth knowledge of the scientific aspects concerning genetic information and the regulation of the development of organisms, the applied biology that determines plant and animal production, advanced technologies to improve the safety and quality of agricultural production, as well as for the protection and rehabilitation of the environment and the production of biomolecules of natural origin with medium and high value added potential health interest.

The articulation of the CdLM/BioSiQuAl allows to provide highly specialized training specifications. In addition, it allows the training of graduates who have the knowledge and ability to analyze the different biological systems to understand, conceive and design solutions to the problems of plant and animal production in a rational, innovative and environmentally friendly way, taking into account the socio-economic, political contexts and, not least, the factors necessary for the maintenance and protection of the production system and the environment.
