The educational program prepares a specialist with a bachelor’s degree in Natural Hazards, Sustainable Environment and Protection.

Main purpose is to prepare a theoretical and practical specialist focused on mountain environment infrastructure;

  • Navigate into the dynamically changing conditions of the mountain;
  • Carry out environmental protection engineering measures;
  • Predict and prevent natural risk factors in the mountain, the causes of snow and avalanches;
  • Determine the erosion of mountain rocks by water Protection, regulation of natural disasters on mountain rivers and arrangement of protection engineering structures oriented to the requirements of the modern labor market;
  • The educational program prepares graduates that will:
  • Have knowledge of natural events occurring in the mountains, underlying causes of natural hazards, environmental sustainability and protection, vital elimination pathways and measurements;
  • Perform environmental sustainability assessment and analysis based on the list of different program subjects:  Software "AutoCad"- for engineers, Flood and flood protection, Hydraulics of buildings, Mechanics of suspended liquids, Avalanche science, Landscape planning of the mountainous region, Field practice hydrology, hydrometry and runoff regulation, Sustainable use of mountain biodiversity, Forestry activities and mountainous environmental protection, Engineering-mathematical geodynamic processes modeling, Climatic changes and mitigation in Mt, etc.
  • Work on a bachelor’s thesis in the process of professional values, adheres to the principles of civil responsibility and norms of ethics.
  • Plan to continue studies independently at the next level of higher education - master's degree.
