Graduates of the educational program for the sustainable development of the Mountain Rural Environment gain knowledge about the concepts, theories, and principles of the sustainable development of the modern rural environment and the natural processes occurring in the mountain rural area.

  • Conducting scientific research and experiments; Determining the features of sustainable economic, ecological, and social development of the mountain village environment.
  • Acquiring a working knowledge of a foreign language and practical skills in the protection, preservation, and development of the mountain village environment, they can work in both the national and international labor market.
  • The educational program prepares graduates who will have:
  • Principal knowledge of mountain village environment.
  • Be able to understand the current natural processes in the field of mountain villages within their competence and to set priorities adequately.
  • Act professionally to protect the environmental balance and promote sustainable development in mountainous villages, based on the list of different program subjects: Landscape planning of the mountainous region, Organic agriculture of the mountain zone, Optimum modes of water use in sustainable mountain, Organic farming systems, Organic farming for sustainable rural livelihoods, Argo-farming tourism, Safety, and security of using mountain natural food resources, etc.
  • Work on a bachelor’s thesis in the process of professional values, adheres to the principles of civil responsibility and norms of ethics.
  • Plan to continue studies independently at the next level of higher education - master's degree.
