The educational program prepares a specialist with a bachelor's degree in Sustainable Mountain Tourism and Hospitality Management. Educational program acquires knowledge of sustainable mountain tourism theories, principles and safety, natural processes occurring in the mountains considering the cultural, historical, traditional, ethnic, and religious characteristics of the population of the mountainous region.

In addition, after acquiring knowledge of a foreign language and practical skills, graduates will be able to be employed both in the national and international labor market.

The educational program prepares graduates that will:

  • Have knowledge of theories and principles of mountain sustainable tourism and be able to analyze, evaluate and formulate reasoned conclusions in the priority areas of sustainable mountain tourism development within its competence.
  • Be focused on marketing, operations of restaurants and food services, lodging, attractions, recreation events and travel related events in a mountainous area.
  • Act professionally in the process of protecting the balance of the mountain environment and developing sustainable tourism based on the list of different subjects: Mountain climate and basics of agrometeorology, Gastronomic tourism, MICE tourism, Business ethics and corporate responsibility,
  • Mountain ethnocultural and region guide, Ecology of mountain environment, Green economy, Field practice Resort tourism, Tour operating, etc.
  • Work on a bachelor’s thesis in the process of formation of professional values, with principles of civil responsibility and norms of ethics.
  • Plan to continue studies independently to the next level of higher education - master's degree
