Eco-Forum of Uzbekistan works for mountain women

The Eco-Forum of Uzbekistan is implementing a targeted programme for public participation in the integrated development of mountain areas.

This year it carried out projects to create a sustainable mechanism for educating women on adaptation to climate change, to develop environmental tourism in the Ugam Chatkal National Park, and to set up a network of environmental journalists in Uzbekistan.

It also won a government grant for a project to promote family environmental safety, the implementation of which is planned this month. Read more at http://www.ecoforum.uz/.
