Rocky Mountain and Central Asian collaboration

Utah Valley University (UVU)  facilitated dialogue with its partners from Kyrgyzstan to deepen their promotion of the sustainable mountain development agenda with joint efforts. Meetings in Kyrgyzstan during July-August 2014 aimed at strengthening cooperation between UVU and Osh Technological University (OshTU) with a focus on educational exchanges (see: http://kabar.kg/eng/regions/full/10600) and Central Asian Institute of Applied Geosciences (CAIAG) with a focus on research on climate change and glaciers.

Representatives of the International University of Kyrgyzstan (IUK) shared their thoughts about the preparations for the fourth International Conference Women of the Mountains to be co-hosted with UVU on 7-9 October 2015 in the western part of the US, in Orem, Utah. Read more
