 Call for proposals on mountain research27.03.2015The Belmont Forum announces "Mountains as Sentinels of Change" to foster research on climate, environmental, and related societal change in the world's mountain regions. Participation in the Belmont Forum includes science organizations in Brazil, India, and South Africa in addition to others in Australia, Europe, Japan, and North America. This call for proposals encourages the formation of new international networks for 18-36 months, beginning in 2016. All proposals must integrate across the natural sciences and social sciences, and they should include participation by three or more of the partner countries. The deadline for proposals (first stage) is 01 June 2015. |
