New publication online - Integrated Natural Resource Management in the Highlands of Eastern Africa

The book “Integrated Natural Resource Management in the Highlands of Eastern Africa” has been recently published and is available online for free download. This publication collects research, methodological innovation, and lessons learned in the African Highlands Initiative (AHI), an eco-regional research-for-development program operating in the eastern African highlands. The editors summarized the experiences of farmers, research and development workers and policy and decision-makers who worked together to implement an integrated approach to natural resource management (NRM) in the humid highlands. The book also features examples and case studies from five benchmark sites in Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania.
