Water issues in the Andes - CONDESAN radio broadcasts

Five short radio broadcasts on water issues in the Andes are now on the website of Consorcio para el Desarollo Sostenible de la Ecorregión Andina (CONDESAN). The broadcasts have been developed by CONDESAN with the support of the Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo (AECID) and of the Challenge Program on Water and Food (CPWF) in the context of the Programme Diálogo Andino. Each broadcast involves different actors of the Andean basin to discuss water issues from different points of view, with the aim to find common solutions. They examined themes such as water and environmental systems, payment for hydrological ecosystem services, governance and management of the hydrological ecosystem services, forestation and water. The broadcasts are directed to decision makers, communities, NGOs and interested stakeholders in the Andean system of Basins.
