Water in the Alps

Alpine water is the source of life for millions of people inside and outside the Alps. The traditional biannual Water Conference for the Alps took place on 24-25 September 2014 in Trento, Italy. It focused on climate change, also taking into account extreme events (such as floods and sediment transport) and good practice examples from theory and practice, from the Alps and other mountain regions.
