Mountain governance survey launched

18.02.2019

Mountain Partnership member, the Mountain Research Initiative (MRI) invites the mountain research community to provide valuable insights into governance in mountain environments by participating in a short online survey.

The MRI survey is looking for insights into the major challenges for mountain governance, and what is being done to foster sustainability in the world’s mountains. Through this survey, MRI hopes to gain a deeper understanding of the major challenges for governance, and what is being done to foster sustainability in the world’s mountains. Insights from in-depth case studies that have paid attention to governance as part of the data collection process are particulary valuable.

The survey should take around 20 minutes to complete. Participants wishing to answer the survey in two or more sittings can set up an individual survey ID to return to and finish the survey when convenient. The email addresses of survey participants will not be saved unless participants indicate that they wish to receive follow-up information on the findings of this survey.

The survey is available in English, Spanish, French, Mandarin (Chinese), and Russian. Survey participants can select their preferred language in the top right-hand corner of the survey pages.
