Call for inputs, 2022 Mountain Partnership Secretariat Annual Report

24.01.2023

Calling all members of the Mountain Partnership, the Mountain Partnership Secretariat is compiling inputs for its 2022 Annual Report.

Each year, the Secretariat dedicates part of its annual report to spotlighting members' achievements in promoting sustainable mountain development. Governments and organizations that were members of the Mountain Partnership in 2022 are invited to submit brief summaries of their projects, programmes and initiatives from the last year.

Local, regional, national and international collaborations, institutional strengthening, capacity development initiatives, thematic conferences, celebrations of the International Year of Sustainable Mountain Development and International Mountain Day 2022, and scientific reports are all welcome. Submissions should have a focus on actions and outcomes and less on events held.

While we can only select a few spotlights to include in the Annual Report due to space, we will aim to have a correct geographical representation and member balance. Information received that will not be used in the Annual Report will be used, to the extent possible, on the Mountain Partnership website and social media channels.

Contributions should be 130 words per project, outlining the main activities and outcomes, and should be accompanied by a high resolution photo(s). The deadline for inputs has been extended to 3 February 2023. Please send contributions to [email protected].
