Volunteering for the MP Secretariat

The Mountain Partnership Secretariat is especially grateful for the support of its volunteers and interns, including Joseph Astrella, whose volunteer term ended in August 2015. Prior to joining the MPS team, he held a variety of jobs, including many in the hospitality industry and civil construction in the United States and Canada and as a student worker at John Cabot University in Rome, Italy. Originally from Mississauga, a suburb of Toronto in the province of Ontario, Canada, Joseph relocated to Rome in August 2013. While in Rome, Joseph completed his undergraduate studies with a Bachelor’s Degree in political science.

In the interview below, he explains what inspires him professionally and describes his job.
