Governance specialist vacancy at ICIMOD

The International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD), an inter-governmental knowledge organization, is currently looking for qualified candidates to fill the position of Governance Specialist in the livelihood thematic area. Based in Kathmandu, Nepal, ICIMOD promotes sustainable mountain development in the Hindu Kush Himalaya (HKH) region, which includes Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Myanmar, Nepal and Pakistan.

Its six regional programmes complemented by four thematic areas are the primary delivery mechanism through which the centre aims to achieve its goals of reducing poverty and vulnerability and improving the lives and livelihoods of women and men in the mountainous region.

Applicants with at least seven years of experience in the areas of governance and community development and at least Masters degree (preferably PhD) can apply online before 23 October 2015 through ICIMOD's online application system.
