The Rufford Foundation is a UK based charity. Its main remit is to offer Rufford Small Grants for nature conservation projects in the developing world.

Grant

: Projects should focus on nature conservation activities in developing countries. The project should normally be of 12 to 18 months duration although each application is assessed on its own merit and the project length can be flexible. Funds must be used predominantly for field-based activities. The impact of the project must be pragmatic, measurable and long lasting.
