Polish Development Cooperation
What they do
The objective of the Polish Development Cooperation (PolishAid) is to create conditions for sustainable development of partner countries in particular by promoting and consolidating democracy, helping create modern and efficient state institutions, undertaking actions which contribute to reducing poverty and improving health conditions, as well as raising the level of education and professional qualifications of people. The Act on Development Cooperation came into force on 1 January 2012. It has been designed to better coordinate and manage development cooperation and thereby increase the effectiveness of Polish aid.
