Commodity-focused and economic development, sustainability, poverty

Established within the framework of the United Nations, the Common Fund for Commodities is committed to providing financial assistance to developing countries for poverty alleviation through commodity-focused development. The assistance is provided through grants and loans to implement specific projects. Key actor in the implementation of each project is the Project Executing Agency, which is the entity responsible for the overall implementation of the project. This responsibility includes the administrative and financial aspects of the management of the funds made available for projects.
