Strengthen climate-resilient approaches to agriculture and water management, with an emphasis on gender-sensitive approaches.
How they do it
The United Nations Develoment Programme (UNDP) supports countries to formulate Integrated Climate Change Strategies that will assist national and sub-national governments to develop and strengthen policies, institutions, capacities and knowledge for integrated green, low-emission and climate resilient development. It also involves utilising a full range of supportive financing mechanisms to support that development. They share information on country-led programmes and projects financed by the Least Developed Country Fund (LDCF), Special Climate Change Fund (SCCF), Adaptation Fund (AF) and bi-lateral donors.
