For over five generations, the foundation has been governed largely by descendants of John Andrus and has developed a tradition of innovative service for those in need of help or opportunity.

No grants outside the United States. No grants to individual. No grant to government entity. The Foundation has decided not to accept unsolicited letters of inquiry until the summer of 2021 and focus its grantmaking to support existing partners’ efforts to dismantle systemic racism.
