Conference and Workshop Grants are for amounts up to $20,000. In accordance with the mission of the foundation, priority is given to events that foster the creation of an international community of research scholars in anthropology and advance significant and innovative anthropological research.

Eligibility
The application must be made by a professional anthropologist who is the primary organizer of the proposed conference or workshop. A co-applicant can be specified on the application. Applications are not accepted from students without a co-applicant who has a doctorate and holds an established academic position.
Application
1) Applicants must submit all application forms and other required application materials must be submitted online. If it is not possible, you must notify the Foundation at least one week before the deadline to arrange an alternative method ([email protected]). 2) The online portal is open for applications two months before the application deadline. 3) Applications must be in English. 4) Following information shall be submitted by the application deadline: General information about the applicant, the conference or workshop, the sponsoring organization (if relevant), the amount requested from the Foundation, and any other funding sources; an abstract of your proposed research; a detailed budget; the answers to three questions about your proposed event and its international nature; proposed list of participants; for workshop applications: a brief bibliography on the theme of the workshop; curriculum vitae for the applicant (and co-applicant).
