The December issue of Peak to Peak provides an overview of the Mountain Partnership’s upcoming activities for International Mountain Day and the fifth Global Meeting of the Mountain Partnership, to be held in Rome, Italy on 11-13 December 2017. The newsletter continues with stories the first West African Mountain Forum held in Togo in October 2017, reports of the two side events held in the framework of the Mountain Partnership during the 23rd Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, and a look at the outcomes of a workshop held in Tajikistan to teach mountain women how to build solar dryers for dehydrating fruit. Peak to Peak provides a sampling of MP members’ activities and events and features a mountain-related publication and video.
