Our new issue of the Peak to Peak newsletter is launched on International Mountain Day 2012, a day in which we celebrate and raise awareness about mountains worldwide. Ten years after the International Year of Mountains, the focus of this year’s International Mountain Day is to celebrate mountain life and sustainable mountain development, drawing attention to the function of mountains at global level and to the goods and services they provide for all humankind.
