In celebration of 40th anniversary of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN collaboration with the Government of Myanmar, FAO is organizing a photo contest at the theme “Food Security, Nutrition and Rural Development in Myanmar”.

How to participate in the photo contest:
1. The contest is open to all enthusiasts of photography who are above 18 years old.
2. Photographs should be submitted in .jpg or .tiff format with a high resolution of 3264x4928 pixels per inch. Only
minimal post-processing is allowed.
3. The photo caption should include NAME, SURNAME of the photographer, TITLE, who is in the photograph and
what is going on within the photo, name of the place, country where the picture was made, when was the photo
taken (in English). All photographs should be related to the theme of the contest. Please provide your full contact details.
4. Photo should be submitted to [email protected] with subject line “FAO Myanmar Photo Contest, NAME and
SURNAME”. Multiply submissions are allowed.
5. The deadline for submitting entries to the contest is 15 November 2017 (Yangon time).
6. Three winners will be selected by FAO staff and announced on 30 November 2017 through the FAO Myanmar
website http://www.fao.org/myanmar/en/ . The winner photographs will be featured in the FAO websites, the FAO Myanmar
Newsletter and winners will be awarded by the FAO with special prizes.
7. FAO reserves in perpetuity the non-exclusive right to publish, reproduce, make public, publicly transmit, display,
print, distribute and screen entries or winning entries with labels indicating them as entries or winning entries of
the contest and the credit titles (©/FAO Name and Surname of the photographer), without further
compensation.
