FAO and the UAE discuss means for future collaboration

25 October 2019, Cairo -- FAO Assistant Director-General and Regional Representative for the Near East and North Africa, Abdessalam Ould Ahmed today met the Minister of Climate Change and Environment in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Dr. Thani Ahmed Al Zeyoudi at the League of Arab States to discuss strategic ties between the UAE and the FAO and means for further cooperation.
UAE and FAO delegations’ talks focused on matters of shared interest and explored pathways for closer collaboration on issues concerning food security, climate change, agriculture and marine research.
