FAO at the ECOSOC Coordination Segment

The ECOSOC Coordination Segment, will take place on 3-4 February 2022. It will address the 2022 annual theme of ECOSOC and the HLPF “Building back better from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) while advancing the full implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”.
The FAO Director-General will be participating in the session entitled 'Recovery from the pandemic through the lens of SDGs 4, 5, 14, 15 and 17' taking place on 4 February at 16:00 (EST). The session will focus on the 2022 ECOSOC/HLPF theme and explore the topic through the lens of the SDGs under review in 2022, as well as cross-cutting issues. The interlinkages among the SDGs will be emphasized.
