150th Session of FAO Council starts at FAO headquarters
1 December 2014, Rome--- 150th Council session starts today at FAO headquarters, with ongoing activities all week. The Governing Council - an elected group of representatives from 49 FAO member states - meets twice a year to discuss FAO programming and budgets.
